2019 was a great year for me for hiking. I got out a lot and really enjoyed myself. I picked up a couple cameras (Ricoh GR & Sony RX100iii) to use instead of my phone, which has paid off I believe. I’m slowly learning the ins and outs of photography and post production. It’s slow going, but one of these days I’ll take some decent pictures. 😆 What else? I think I’ve upped my game in my blog posts, but I would like to improve in 2020. Writing is not something that comes easy to me – I kind of just “let it flow” and make an attempt to tidy it up after the first draft.

As for this video…I really enjoy looking back at the one I made for 2018. There’s something about looking at your photos in this type of format that evokes a lot more emotion. With every picture I can remember exactly where it was taken and sometimes the feelings I had at that moment. Clicking pictures in a Window’s folder can’t compare to that.
